Tap to Unlock, No Matter Your Phone
Ultraloq’s Bolt NFC smart lock now allows both iPhone and Android users to tap-to-unlock, breaking the ecosystem lock-in and offering freedom of choice.
Ultraloq just made its Bolt NFC smart lock ($200) a lot smarter: now both iPhone and Android users can tap-to-unlock, just like you’d tap to pay. Usually, these features are locked inside one ecosystem (Apple Home Key or Android NFC), but Ultraloq is breaking the rule by letting households mix and match.

Ultraloq
That’s the unique selling point: no ecosystem lock-in. One lock works across platforms, partners, and even NFC cards or fobs. In a smart home market built on silos, Ultraloq is selling freedom of choice as much as convenience.
Would you pay more for the Apple version so both platforms work seamlessly? Or stick with the cheaper Android path and run the app in the background?
